Buntarō Futagawa

Buntarō Futagawa ( 18 June 1899 – 28 March 1966) was a pioneering Japanese film director and writer, known for Orochi (1925), Shisen ni tateba (1924) and Hakaishi ga ibiki o suru koro (1925). In the silent era, he also worked with the actor Tsumasaburō Bandō. As a writer, he used another name: Otsuma Shinozuka.
