Persons who will conduct the class: Wu and two young filmmakers Zhang, Zou.

Model of class: workshop

Part 1: the way of Memory Project (10 am to 11 am)

Wu: present the project (conception, way, interview as tool, with ppt)

Zhang & Zou: introduce their experience individually (back to village, interview about the Great Famine, with ppt)

Part 2: documentary created with the Memory Project (11 am to 2 pm)

Wu: “personal film creation” how to deal with the project

Zhang & Zou: present (explain as well) several parts from their individual film as example

( break: could be 12:30 am to 1:30 pm)

Part 3: feedback & discuss ( 2 pm to 3 pm)

Wu: leave several questions to students
