During a hallucinatory drug experience, a Spanish couple teleports through their television set. A troubled young man travels through the countryside and meets a lost woman. Raya Martin, born in 1984 in Manila (PH) and considered one of the most important artist in Philippines, has already directed several features and short films. In 2005, he participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus and in 2008 his film Now Showing was screened at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. One year later, the feature film Independencia, supported by the Berlinale World Cinema Fund, was shown at the Cannes Film Festival 2009. Martin’s latest film, Buenas Noches, España premiered at the Locarno Film Festival 2011. As artist, his works has been presented in the most important exhibitions and museums, as Documenta 2012, Kassell, Germany, Museum of the Moving Image in New York, USA and Korean Film Archive, South Korea. Many international festivals featured retrospectives of his films as Buenos Aires Film Festival, Mexico City International Film Festival and Las Palmas de Gran Canarias International Film Festival.
